Reminded in 2020
“I am reminded, ministry is about people and relationships. Pictured below are some of these special people. ”
Do you remember? The older I become, the less I like that question! My daughter Abby asked if I remembered a birthday cake made for her by a special friend of ours. She described it and I wanted so badly to remember it so as not to hurt her feelings, but to no avail. Anyway, she was very understanding and I told her that maybe in Heaven God will allow us to remember all those special things.
God does want us to remember the special things, especially His truth in Scripture. These truths are desperately essential, especially during these unsettling times. Let’s remember, many times in Scripture we see circumstances that look impossibly irreversible and depressing, yet God reveals He’s in charge, performing miraculous change for His Glory!
Reminded: 2 Peter 1:3-4, 12-13, 15
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises… 12 So I will always remind you of these things…it is right to refresh your memory… 15 And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things.
Reminded:
Much of my ministry is to remind men what they already know to be true.
Discipleship is the missing ingredient in most of our Christian experience.
Pastor and missionary coaching remains a great need today, both locally and overseas.
Marriage counseling, family counseling, and rebuilding broken lives is imperative! Much of the time when I do counseling, Penny is involved, bringing her loving and wise insights.
By a friend in ministry, that my discipleship teaching was added to the leadership curriculum taught to 250 Nicaraguan Pastors
Reminded: that we couldn’t do this ministry without your help! I am empowered by your prayers, enabled by your support, and encouraged by your love!
All my love, Keith
