Merry Christmas: Ministry Update

Merry Christmas to you all!

As we wind down 2017, I wanted to share a few pictures and updates from my past few months of international ministry. I traveled to 3 different countries where I led various pastoral training. In September, I was in Romania where I met up with my friend Daniel Vieru, a leader of a local Christian school.

In October, I led a trip with 4 other pastor-trainers with Project Hope to Nicaragua.

The leaders of Project Hope out of Springfield, Missouri, have asked me to take a lead role in their international pastoral training ministry. I will continue teaching in Nicaragua and other countries while overseeing the pastor’s training in Haiti. This will also mean looking to expand this ministry in some other countries. As most of you know I work with men as well as my overseas ministry. Penny and I just hosted four couples for a great evening of encouragement and fellowship, who represent about half of the men that I disciple locally. I continue pastoral ministry things such as weddings, funerals, counseling, etc. I am extremely grateful for all of your support through your friendship, prayer and finances. We are blessed by knowing you and literally could not do this ministry without your help.

Please continue to pray for us. May God richly bless you and give you a very Merry Christmas

A “newly remodeled” church building in Haiti... humbling, to be sure.

This is a typical sight in Haiti as we pass through a town. We just don’t know how good we have it.
