40 years ago this last June, I married my dream girl. 

After realizing God’s profound grace in my own life, I decided to go to Bible college for one year. I made a commitment to the Lord that I would focus on getting to know Him through His Word, and not on chasing girls. After my arrival I did “just happen” to notice one girl named Penny Milks. Besides being a cutie, there was just something about her. 

A few weeks into the semester, I was in class trying to listen to the professor while my buddy Richie from Queens, NY, was telling me about all the girls that liked him. I told him I was trying to pay attention to the teacher but to no avail. After he finished enlightening me about the five girls who were interested in him, he asked me if I had my eye on anyone. I said, “Nope, no one Rich.” With that he began to question me more. He kept saying, “There has to be someone.” He was relentless so I decided to throw him a bone.  As I turned to respond to him, I “just so happened” to see Penny through a window outside walking with someone. To this day I’m not sure who it was. She says it was the guy she was dating…truth is I don’t care!  This is my story! Back to it…So, I said to Richie as I motioned toward the window, “Do you see her?” He answered, “Yeah, what of it?” “She’s the one,” I said. He responded, “What? No way man, she’s taken, they’re history!” I responded, “Nope, she’s mine.” While he was still shaking his head, I decided to drive the nail home and stated, “I’m going to marry her!” 

Little did I know at the time what I had just said would prove prophetic.

2021 Ministry Highlights:

• We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary!

• Discipled several men on a weekly basis

• Did pre and post marital counseling

• To Haiti in February to teach pastors

• To Haiti in June for staff at Project Hope

• Coaching pastors and those in missions and ministry

• Connection trip to ministry partners, family and friends (5,000 miles/12 places). 

• November Dominican trip canceled because of violence on the island.

• Spoke at Hidden Acres Family Camp where a 1,000 people showed up!

• Spoke again at Hidden Acres to about 200 senior saints.  

• Currently preparing for overseas trips in Jan. and Feb. to the Dominican to train pastors

Amazed at God’s grace to be able to do ministry for over 30 years and to be married to my dream girl now for 40. I’m amazed, humbled and grateful that many pray for us and support us in this ministry.
