The Ripple Effect - Africa 2017

“Africa is Africa”... That's a common response to the question, “What's it like there?” Zambia does seem to fit most of the stereotypes of Africa. There are many good reasons to go to Africa and many a noble cause. These pictures alone might suffice for some. I go for one main reason - to encourage and train pastors. These men are on the front line of the spiritual battle.  I have a heart for them because I know how it feels. They are men of impact.

As a young boy I liked to throw rocks into our farm pond and then watch for the point of impact. Sometimes only a tiny splash, it still cause a ripple effect that would grow and grow. The ripple increased in size as it traveled, further and further from the point of impact, at times covering the whole pond. The size of the initial impact compared to the size of the final impact was exponential. Similarly, these pastors affect many lives in their churches, villages, and surrounding areas. I love to impact the impactors. This is why I teach discipleship here and in places like Africa.

Thankfully, many of you support me in prayer and resources. In 2 Corinthians 9:11-12, Paul speaks of those who give “seed to the sower”. Paul writes, “This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”

It’s THE RIPPLE EFFECT!

I’m off to Nicaragua the last 2 weeks of May, would you consider helping with my plane ticket and travel expenses? If you're interested in supporting this trip and the 141 Ministry, please click the Give to 141 link below.

We love you, Keith & Penny
